Geoempathetic Photograms

Geoempathetic Photogram is a series of darkroom photography prints that use photogram techniques to overlay medium format film negatives with tulle and glitter. The photographs were taken in National and State Parks, places of tourism. The series plays with traditional “Landscape Photography” compositions by bringing plastic and barriers into the conversation through the mesh-like texture of the materials. I feel that such places are a balance between consumerism and conservation.
